RTI application filed demanding info about PM’s kidney transplantation

KATHMANDU: Two advocates have filed a Right to Information (RTI) application seeking information about kidney transplantation of Prime Minister KP Oli.

Advocate duo Bal Krishna Neupane and Dr. Surendra Bhandari filed the application at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) as per provision by RTI Act, 2064.

They have demanded information related to date when the prime minister underwent translation and identification of the donor and relation with PM.

The prime minister underwent kidney re-transplantation at TUTH on March 4. Samiksha Sangraula of Jhapa who is said to be niece by relation had donated a kidney to the prime minister.
