CHITWAN: Nepali Congress Vice-President Bimalendra Nidhi has said that his party is in no mood to topple the incumbent government.

Vice-President Nidhi said this while speaking in a news conference organized by Press Union, Chitwan, here today.
He added that the issue of government change is the internal issue of the ruling party.

The NC Vice-President argued, “We are not in a mood to topple the government. We are engaged in the preparation of the party’s general convention.”

He expressed the view that the party’s 14th general convention would be held as per the schedule, claiming that the NC has been running as per the NC’s statute and agreement.

Leader Nidhi said that NC is a responsible opposition party and it has to play the responsible role.

Claiming that the government has failed to live up to the people’s expectations in the past two years since it came to power, he blamed the government for being a failure to control price hike, to maintain peace as well as to forward development activities.
