Pedestrian injured after being hit by car driven by NC leader

GHORAHI: A pedestrian has sustained injuries after being hit by the car driven by Nepali Congress leader Gehendra Giri.

According to District Police Office, Dang, Giri was driving the car, Ba 20 Cha 2239, under the influence of alcohol when the incident took place.

According to Area Police Office, Amiliya, 35-year-old Rakam Bahadur BK of Dhangadhi, Kailali sustained injuries in the accident.

Seriously injured BK has been referred to Kohalpur-based Medical College after preliminary treatment at Lamahi Hospital.
