Over 67,000 Nepalis return home so far



KATHMANDU: As many as 67, 220 Nepalis stranded aboard due to the coronavirus pandemic and other reasons have been repatriated so far.

According to the data released by the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC), the highest number of 18,796 Nepalis have returned from the UAE among 58 countries till Wednesday.

A total of 900 Nepalis returned home on Thursday.

According to CCMC, 155 Nepalis have returned home from Saudi Arabia today, while two bodies have been brought.

Similarly, 50 returned from China, 144 from Malaysia, 186 from Qatar, 225 from Turkey and 141 from Dubai.
