3 die in road accidents



KATHMANDU: Three persons died in different road accidents in Mahottari, Dhanusha and Nawalparasi (West).

According to Nepal Police’s Control Unit, Lalit Thakur, 30, an inhabitant of Ekdara-3 Bhataulia lost his control over his bike (Ja 11 Pa 1386) he was riding and met with an accident at Balawa-8 Pani Tanki, Mahottari last evening.

Similarly, Surendra Danuwar, 30, of Sabeila-13 Sinta Tol died in a bike accident the same day.

Danuwar lost his control over bike (Na 47 Pa 2124) while driving at Sabeila 13- Raghunathpur and breathed his last.

Likewise, Dhal Prasad Gautam, 67, a pedestrian, lost his life when a Scorpio jeep (Ba 19 Cha 3560) hit him at Bardghat-10 Dhruva Tol, in Nawalparasi (West).

According to police, Gautam, an inhabitant of Bardghat-9, Suntandi died while undergoing treatment at the Community Hospital Chisapani Bardghat.

The police have arrested the driver of the Scorpio.

Police have initiated investigation on all these accidents cases in the respective districts.
