Indefinite prohibitory order imposed in Bara



BARA: A prohibitory order has been clamped in Bara district for an indefinite period from today after the coronavirus cases increased.

With the prohibitory order clamped, no one has been allowed to come out of their houses except for urgent tasks, said Chief District Officer Rudra Prasad Pandit.

According to a press note issued by District Administration Office, Bara, on Sunday, daily essential shops including, cooking gas, fuel, dairy, vegetables will open until 8 am in the morning. The medical shops, however, will remain open for 24 hours.

Meanwhile, checkpoints bordering India will remain closed until September 16.  People’s movement will be restricted.

Those who violate the order will be penalized as per the Infectious Disease Control Act, 2020 and Local Administration Act, 2028, said the notice.
