Nepalis exposed to atrocities owing to PM’s controversial comment on Ayodhya

Nepali ambassador expresses concern



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli’s controversial statement on Ayodhya has ignited unrest in the orthodox Hindu communities of India exposing the Nepali community over there at risk of the atrocities from them.

Videos of the extremist Hindu communities’ protest against PM Oli and the atrocities showered against the Nepalis over there are going viral on social media.

One such video shows a Nepali forcefully shaved bald and written ‘Jay Shree Ram’ on his head.

World Hindu Sena, the organization orthodox Hindus are seen chanting slogans against PM Oli while shaving the Nepali youths head.

In the meantime, Nepal’s ambassador to India Nilambar Acharya has expressed concern over the atrocity against the Nepali community.

In his tweet, Ambassador Acharya has informed that he has talked to the office of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh regarding the incident.
