Mahara’s case gets ‘under-study’ status, final verdict likely on Monday



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu District Court (KDC) has placed the Mahara related attempted-rape case on the ‘under-study’ category on Sunday.

Amidst the speculations that the final verdict on the case would come on Sunday, the bench of justice Amar Raj Paudel put the case on the ‘under-study’ category on Sunday.

The final verdict is most likely to be on Monday, now. According to the registrar at the Kathmandu District Court Ananda Prasad Shrestha, the case is on the ‘under-study’ category and the decision is likely to come on Monday.

Senior Advocate Raman Kumar Shrestha, Sher Bahadur KC, Lava Mainali, Dinmani Pokharel, Dr. Bhimarjun Acharya among other lawyers had in the court represented Mahara.
