Gandaki State records five additional COVID-19 cases



POKHARA: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in five more people, including a journalist in Gandaki state on Wednesday.

Two Tourist Police persons have also tested positive for coronavirus, the Province Health Directorate said today.

The infected journalist is a 38-year-old male from Putalibazaar municipality –13 in Syangja and currently residing in Gairapatan of Pokhara Metropolitan City-4.

Likewise, two Tourist Police persons have been infected in Pokhara-6 while one person each has been found infected in Tanahu and Nawalparasi.

With this, the total number of infected has reached 3,171 so far in Gandaki state.
