Car-hit claims woman in Dang



DANG: A woman has died after being hit by a car at Lamahi municipality-1, Narti on the East-West Highway in Dang on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as a 40-year-old woman whose identity is yet to be established, said District Police Office, Dang.

According to police, the ill-fated car, Na 6 Kha 467, heading to Mahendranagar from Biratnagar hit her at 6 am today. Critically injured woman died as soon she was taken to the hospital.

Police said they have arrested the car involved in the accident from Lamahi-9, Rihar and investigating the case.
