NC passes condolence motion on Sherma’s demise



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) Central Working Committee held at party office, Sanepa, today passed a condolence motion, expressing deep sorrow on the demise of former central committee member of NC and former minister, Purna Kumar Sherma.

The meeting held under the chairmanship of NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba extended condolences to the bereaved family of late Sherma.

The NC also decided to lower the party’s flag at half-mast for three days from today at the central party office and all district offices in honor of late Sherma.

Similarly, the central party office and party offices of all districts would be closed on March 15.
