Kavre district leader of Biplav outfit arrested



KATHMANDU:  Kavrepalanchwok Police has arrested district level leader of outlawed Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand alis Biplav.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested 54-year-old Madhusudhan Bajgain of Dhulikhel municipality-12, Shankhupatichaur, informed, DSP Kumar Bikram Thapa of DPO, Kavre.

Bajgain was arrested based on the information that he was extorting money from the businessmen and industrialists in the district.

Police said they have filed a case against Bajgain in line with the National Crime (Code) Act, 2017 and are carrying out investigation on him.
