President Bhandari urges for shifting vulnerable settlements



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed her concerns over the loss of human and properties caused by a landslide in the district of Sindhupalchowk.

In a message on Twitter account this evening, the President mentioned that Sindhupalchok district was continuously facing disasters caused due to flooding and landslides in this rainy season and termed it painful.

The President has also drawn the attention of bodies concerned for shifting the vulnerable settlements to the safer zones after geographical risk assessment, according to RSS.
