Karnali Province reports 47 new coronavirus cases

KATHMANDU: Karnali Province has reported 47 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Karnali Province, tests conducted at Karnali Provincial Hospital /Avian Disease Investigation Laboratory, Surkhet and Chaurjahari Municipal PCR Laboratory, Rukum West have confirmed coronavirus in 47 people from five districts.

Among the newly-infected people, 41 are from Surkhet, one from Jajarkot, one from Banke and currently living in Surkhet, two from Dailekh and two from Rukum West.

With the new cases, total cases in the province have reached 1,663.
