In his address to a meeting of the District Disaster Management Committee, Chitwan, today, the leader was of the view that response to coronavirus crisis and natural disasters should not be weaker.

‘’ The nation is at risk of landslide and flood,’’ he said, wishing no influence of political activities and other disputes in the unity on disaster preparedness. Any attempt from anywhere else to weaken the party unity would not be in favor of the people.’’

He urged the entire political parties, civil society, media and one and all to engage in a combined battle against the COVID-19 crisis.

As he said, a detailed project report (DPR) for the construction of a ring road and the embankments along the Rapti, Narayani and Riu Rivers in the district had already been prepared and presented before the Finance Ministry, demanding the budget allocation for the project which as he said is his dream project.

The project will serve as the foundation for prosperity in the district, according to him.
