KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has provided traffic management training to 50 police personnel to enhance their skills in traffic control and regulation.
The 45-working-day training, conducted under the supervision of the National Police Training Academy, concluded successfully on Tuesday.
During the closing ceremony held at the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Chief of the office, Senior Superintendent of Police Suresh Prasad Kafle, distributed certificates and awards to the participants.
Addressing the event, SSP Kafle stressed the need for the trainees to effectively apply the knowledge, skills and expertise gained during the training in their professional duties.
Training coordinator Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Jung Shah said the training was attended by 18 police assistant head constables and 32 police constables.
