BIRGUNJ: Property worth over Rs 1.2 million was reduced to cinder after a poultry farming based at Bindabasini rural municipality-4 in Parsa district caught fire.

Sachin Poultry farm owned by Laljhadi Devi, a local, caught fire apparently due to short-circuit on Monday evening, District Police Office, Parsa said.

Three gas cylinders and 2,100 poultry were destroyed in the fire. Police said the fire was contained with the help of locals and a fire fighter.
