KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Balendra Shah (Balen) posted an emotional message on social media late Friday night after lawmakers from his own party, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), began criticizing the government in Parliament.
In a Facebook post published at 11:06 pm, Shah said that the right time would take some time to arrive and that reality might be different from what people had heard and seen.
Urging citizens not to panic, the Prime Minister said that there are times when one has to fight alone.
“It takes some time for the right time to come. It may be late, but it is not wrong. Do not panic. Sometimes reality may be different from what you have heard and seen,” he wrote. “Sometimes you have to fight alone. This is not the first time.”
The post came on the same day that RSP lawmaker Manish Jha criticized the government during Friday’s House of Representatives meeting, saying it had failed to effectively manage the state.
