NRB issues today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Saturday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.04 and the selling rate at Rs 152.64.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.27 and the selling rate at Rs 175.96. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been set at Rs 204.36 and the selling rate at Rs 205.16. The buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 187.59 and the selling rate at Rs 188.33.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 107.04 and the selling rate at Rs 107.46. One Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 108.45 and a selling rate of Rs 108.88, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 118.67 and a selling rate of Rs 119.14.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.60 and the selling rate at Rs 9.64. One Chinese yuan has a buying rate of Rs 22.53 and a selling rate of Rs 22.62. One Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 40.50 for buying and Rs 40.66 for selling, while one Qatari riyal has a buying rate of Rs 41.72 and a selling rate of Rs 41.89.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.60 and the selling rate is Rs 4.62. One UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 41.40 and a selling rate of Rs 41.56. One Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 37.16 and a selling rate of Rs 37.31.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.74 and the selling rate is Rs 10.78. One Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 16.02 and a selling rate of Rs 16.09, while one Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 23.45 and a selling rate of Rs 23.54.

The central bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.38 and the selling rate at Rs 19.46. One Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 495.08 and a selling rate of Rs 497.04. One Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 403.24 and a selling rate of Rs 404.83, while one Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 394.89 and a selling rate of Rs 396.45.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest updates are available on the central bank’s official website.
