Provide pension to Nepali migrant workers in Korea: Minister Yadav

KATHMANDU:  Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Rameshwar Raya Yadav has urged South Korean government to arrange pension for Nepali migrant workers through the Korean Embassy in Kathmandu.

Minister Yadav asked South Korean Ambassador Park Hyung-sik to arrange pension for the Nepali migrant workers in South Korea to encourage them and boost their morale during a meeting with the ambassador.

In the meeting, Ambassador Park said that Korea government is mulling to increase salary and facilitate their meetings with their family members to reduce the suicide rates of Nepali migrant workers.

Meanwhile, Yadav also urged to increase the quota for Nepali migrant workers.
