KATHMANDU: Police have arrested and brought Kalpana Shahi, the murder-accused of Krishna Bahadur Bohara in Gongabu, to Kathmandu from Chitwan on early Tuesday.

During the police investigation, Kalpana has admitted to have killed Bohara by striking him with a hammer after administering him sedatives on Saturday night.

“I murdered him after he troubled me a lot,” Police quoted Kalpana as saying.

It is learnt that the body was taken to the bathroom and the head and his legs were severed. They were put in the suitcase and a zebra bag and disposed on the road side, said police. She claimed that she did not call for help from anyone to kill Bohara.

Kalpana’s 16-year-old daughter had assisted her for the management of body.

However, the statement of the murdered-accused will be verified only after the investigation of the police.

Police found that Kalpana Shahi’s real name is Kalpana Mudwari. Police said she used to talk to Bohara on social networking sites in the Facebook account opened in the name of Kamala Paudel.

Meanwhile, police have recovered a hammer and Khukuri from her rented flat at Gongabu Nawajyoti Marga.

Kalpana had headed to Chitwan in an ambulance on Sunday evening.
