Indian Ambassador Kwatra calls on Speaker Sapkota



KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra paid a courtesy call on Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota on Tuesday.

During the meet at the Speaker’s workplace in Singha Durbar, Speaker Sapkota said Nepal-India has relations to government, parliament and public levels.

Thanking India for assistance in rescue, relief and reconstruction following the 2015 earthquake, Speaker Sapkota expressed his happiness saying that the countries have signed agreements of long term significance, of late.

Indian Ambassador Kwatra congratulated Sapkota for being elected to the post and wished him for a successful tenure.

Envoy Kwatra hoped that Nepal and India relation will reach newer heights in the days to come.
