KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is set to hold discussions with chief executive officers (CEOs) of commercial banks on Tuesday.
The meeting has been called to assess the role of financial institutions in implementing economic reform measures announced through the budget and to review the current situation of the financial market.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the discussion will be held at 3:00 pm at the ministry in Singha Durbar, with participation from CEOs of all 20 commercial banks licensed as Class ‘A’ financial institutions by Nepal Rastra Bank.
The ministry said the meeting will focus on gathering feedback from banking sector leaders regarding the implementation of government policies and the overall condition of the financial sector.
