Fire at TIA international terminal contained

KATHMANDU: A fire that broke out at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday evening has been contained.

The fire that broke out a coffee shop at the departure waiting hall of the international terminal was doused with the help of fire engines.

No human casualty has been reported, police said.

The fire is believed to be caused by an electric short-circuit. The loss of property is yet to be calculated.
