Chopper carrying DPM Pokharel makes emergency landing in Palpa



KATHMANDU: A Nepal Army (NA) chopper carrying Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwor Pokharel made an emergency landing in Palpa owing to adverse weather.

The chopper made the landing in Tansen at around 5:30 pm on Friday evening while he was heading to Rupandehi from Kathmandu.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Laxman Ghimire, DPM Pokharel then boarded a jeep to Rupandehi.
