Landslide kills one in Gulmi



GULMI: The downpour induced landslide has taken life of a 62-year-old man in Phusre, Gulmi on Friday.

According to District Administration office, Gulmi, Yam Bahadur Shrees of Kaligandaki-4 Phusre was buried in the landslide this morning.

“We received the news that Shrees had been to the water channel to clean it for operation when the rumbles in the landslide fell on smashing him to death,” Bharat Kumar Sharma, the Chief District Officer of Gulmi district said.

Shrees, along with his wife, had been to the water channel route to clean it and get it ready for operation. His wife is safe in the incident.
