Bagmati State govt to provide financial assistance to flood victims



HETAUDA: Expressing sorrow over the loss of life and property in the flood and landslide incidents occurred in Sindhupalchok, Chief of Bagmati State, Bishnu Prasad Prasain has urged the state government to expedite the search and rescue works.

He also urged citizens to be cautious and the government to remain prepared for rescue operations.

The Bagmati State government has said it would provide financial assistance to the families of the people who lost their lives in the landslide and floods in Sindhupalchok district.

Bagmati State government’s minister for internal affairs, Shalikram Jamkattel, minister for industry, tourism, forest and environment Arun Prasad Nepal and minister for social development Yubaraj Dulal had reached the flood and landslide-hit area in Sindhupalchok for overseeing rescue and relief works.
