Brazil reports 42,907 coronavirus cases in past 24 hrs



KATHMANDU: The death toll in Brazil has crossed 69,000 from coronavirus in the last six months. According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 69,254 after 1,199 new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.

With 42,907 new cases in the past 24 hours, the number of infection cases has surged to 1,759,103 as of so far.

Currently, 537,973 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8,318 are critical. Meanwhile, 1,152,467 have recovered after treatment.
