4 terrorists killed in encounter in Kashmir

NEW DELHI: A gun-battle erupted between security forces and militants in Sugoo Hendhama of South Kashmir’s Shopian district today.

Four terrorists have been killed in the encounter.

According to Indian media reports, a joint team of police, army’s 44 RR and CRPF has launched a cordon-and-search-operation in the Sugoo Hendhama area on Wednesday – that later ensued in a gun-battle.

The Indian Army in Kashmir said that 4 terrorists were killed in the encounter so far.

Meanwhile, internet services in the area have been snapped in the district as a precautionary measure.
