NEA will get new Executive Director soon: Energy Minister Pun



KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Barsha Man Pun has said that the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) would get its new Executive Director soon.

The appointment proposal of NEA’s new Executive Director would be tabled at the Cabinet soon, he said.

The tenure of the incumbent NEA Executive Director Kulman Ghising is expiring on September 14.

Minister Pun, however, said that the ministry is yet to finalize the name of the new Executive Director.

“Positive and negative responses have come regarding reappointment of sitting NEA Executive Director Kulman Ghising,” he said dismissing rumors regarding reappointment of Ghising.
