PM Oli congratulates his French and Irish counterparts



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended his best wishes to the newly-appointed prime ministers of France and Ireland in separate congratulatory messages sent today.

In a message of best wishes sent to his French counterpart Jean Castex, Prime Minister Oli has stressed the need of consolidated economic collaboration highlighting the old, friendly and people-to-people relations between Nepal and France.

The Prime Minister also lauded the French assistance in the social and economic development endeavors of Nepal.

Likewise, in a message of best wishes to Prime Minister Michael Martin of Ireland, Oli expressed his desire to have close collaboration with him for the mutual benefits.

In addition, Prime Minister Oli congratulated the government of Ireland for being elected as a temporary member of the United Nations Security Council for 2021-22.

In the congratulatory messages sent to his counterparts, Oli has laid special emphasis on cooperation and solidarity among the international community against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The PM also extended gratitude to France and Ireland for their invaluable cooperation with the Nepali immigrants living in the respective country.
