‘Senior Citizens Health Program’ in the offing

DHANGADHI: The Sudhurpaschhim Province will set to implement the ‘Chief Minister Senior Citizens Health Program’ from the current fiscal year.

The Ministry of Social Development said that the program will be implemented through the district health offices.

The Hospital Development and Medical Services Division under the ministry has informed all district health offices in the State, according to Division Chief Dr Chetraj Joshi.

Initially, the program will be implemented as a model.

The program is mainly targeted at senior citizens and people with disabilities who are not able to visit health facilities to receive healthcare services.
