Two arrested on charge of threatening health workers



DAILEKH: Two persons were arrested for threatening health workers at Naumule Primary Health Centre in the district.

Local Ganesh Thapa and Dinesh Chand were arrested for they had threatened Dr. Deepak Subedi and health workers to leave the health center on Friday.

Thapa and Chand had reportedly threatened the health workers, accusing them of not treating the patient.

According to Dailekh Police chief Hari Bahadur Oli, they were arrested from their own houses. The health center now has postponed normal health check-up except COVID-19 suspected cases.
