SP Malla gets 12-hour ultimatum to leave Chitwan

KATHMANDU: The Police Office of Province-3 has given a 12-hour ultimatum to Superintendent of Police (SP) Dan Bahadur Malla to leave the district to pave way for SP Ganga Pant to take charge of the district police.

The Province-3 Police Office in a confidential circular – posted on social media by SP Malla — directed SP Malla to immediately vacate the office within 12 hours.

SP Malla was one of the 24 SPs to be transferred on December 20, 2019. SP Pant has been given the charge of Chitwan district.
