Indian national held with 4.5 kg hashish

KATHMANDU: Parsa Police arrested a man in possession of 4.5 kilograms of hashish.

A team of police deployed from Area Police Office, Inarwa, arrested 50-year-old Rajesh Mahato with the banned drug.

According to police, Mahato originally from Motihari, Bihar, was ferrying 4.5 kilograms of narcotic drugs concealed on his waist to India when he was caught during a security check.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking Mahato into custody.
