Tipper-hit claims 8-yr-old in Rupandehi



TILOTTAMA: An eight-year-old boy has died after being struck by a tipper in Rupandehi district.

The decease has been identified as Raghubir Harijan of Mayadevi rural municipality-8, said District Police Office, Rupandehi.

Pedestrian Raghubir died on the spot after the tipper, Lu 1 Ka 1174, hit him on Monday morning, said Police Spokesperson DSP Khadka Bhadur Khatri.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the tipper and the driver into police custody.
