Former US envoy DeLisi calls people to join his initiative for charity

KATHMANDU: In a bid to support his initiatives to serve the Nepali people in need, former US Ambassador to Nepal Scott H DeLisi has called people to join his initiative for charity.

“It’s just me, back at work as I will be throughout the month seeking your help for the people we serve in Nepal,” DeLisi has said.

Stating that they have got tens of thousands to raise yet for next year, which is why, as he said, are ‘thrilled to have the support of Nepal Investment Bank Limited and NB Construction in Nepal’ along with the commitment of Sherpa Chai, Nepas Travel, Everest Engineering, and Taste of Spice in the US.

“We, however, still need to inspire more to join us,” he has said seeking support from people, also from the Nepali community, with small monthly gifts or larger end-of-year donations.
