NC ‘unimpressed’ by new budget

KATHMANDU: The main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has said that the new fiscal budget lacks newness and was focused on running daily administrative works.

Making public its official opinion on the recently-unveiled budget, NC Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma said that the budget has not incorporated new programs and failed to set long-term goals.

He remarked the budget failed to allocate enough money for provinces and local units.
