NCP Chair Dahal leaves for UAE with his wife

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday morning.

Dahal is accompanied by his wife Sita Dahal, his daughters Renu Dahal and Ganga Dahal.

It is learnt that the Dahal family will stay in the UAE for five days at the will of Sita Dahal, who has been suffering from various ailments including high blood pressure and diabetes.

Earlier, Sita, whose health started deteriorating after the sudden death of her son Prakash, had previously been treated at various hospitals including in India, Singapore and Thailand.

Dahal’s personal secretariat said Dahal will visit Nepali migrants during his stay in the UAE but ruled out the possibility of political meetings with any UAE leaders.
