KATHMANDU: Tickets to various events under the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) taking place from December 1 in Nepal can be purchased online.
E-Sewa has been appointed as ticketing partner to sell all the tickets of SAG matches. Taking place in Nepal after two decades, SAG begins on December 1.
Issuing a press release on Thursday, the company shared that one can easily buy tickets of volleyball, football, basketball and cricket scheduled in Kathmandu through online. One can visit sag.esewa.com.np and purchase a ticket for the match he/she willing to watch.
The viewer can download electronic copy of the ticket at his/her mobile including his/her name and mobile number while purchasing ticket. The ticket would be verified at real time and ticket holder would get entry in the match by showing the identity card. The online ticketing system is expected to resolve problem of black marketing and duplicate ticket.
A customer with e-sewa account can purchase ticket directly from his/her mobile while others without e-sewa account can purchase online ticket at e-sewa zone and points in various parts of the valley. Meanwhile, in Pokhara, advance sale of ticket for the SAG games will begin from Friday. A total of eight games are being held in the lake city.
The tickets are priced at Rs. 100, 200 and Rs. 500 for different categories, according to the ticket management committee coordinator Sanjib Bahadur Koirala. Ticket sale counters have been set up in 14 different locations of the city. Pokhara is hosting women’s football and cricket, beach volleyball, weight lifting, handball, triathlon, archery and badminton.
