Patan-Pancheshwar road disrupted

BAITADI: The Patan-Pancheshwar road is out of service as a section of it caved in due to continuous rain for some days.

Vehicular movement on the road has come to a standstill since Saturday evening after the road sunk at a place called Lorkha in Patan Municipality-6.

Baitadi Police said efforts are on to repair the road and resume service in coordination with the Division Road Office Baitadi. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dilli Narayan Pandeya said it might take some time to repair the road and open it for traffic since a large section of the road has sunk.

Passengers traveling to Tallo Sworad of Baitadi to be home for the Dashain festival are stranded.
