Rs 23.63 billion allocated for irrigation

 KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 23.63 billion for the irrigation sector in the coming fiscal budget.
Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada announced that Rs 2.5 billion has been allocated for Rani Jamara and Bheri-Babai diversion. The budget has allocated Rs 960 million for irrigation projects in Tarai-Madhes.
