3-year deadline for every long-term project



KATHMANDU: The government has set a three-year-deadline for every multi-year project in order to curb the culture of procrastination. The government has to allocate one-thirds budget for the project at the initial period.

The cabinet has already approved the guidelines on multi-year contract to this effect. According to the guidelines, such kind of contract should be approved by the cabinet as the multi-year project and it should be of the national priority.
