BEIJING: President Bidya Devi Bhandari joined Chinese President Xi Jinping and other heads of states and governments to attend the opening ceremony of International Horticultural Exhibition-2019 in Kunming town.
President Bhandari and other heads of states are in China to participate in the 2nd Belt and Road Initiative.
Chinese President Xi inaugurated the exhibition at Kunming town. Inaugurating the exhibition, he expressed the hope that the exhibition would spread the concept of green development across the globe.
The slogan of the 162-day long exhibition is ‘Live Green, Live Better’. It is being attended by representatives from 110 countries.
Meanwhile, President Bhandari inaugurated the Nepali Pavilion in the exhibition.
