Two nabbed with 15.3 kg charas in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons with 15.3 kilograms charas being smuggled into Kathmandu.

A youth was arrested with two kilograms charas from Thankot on Thursday afternoon. After interrogating him, police recovered an additional of 13.3 kilograms charas.

According to police, Santosh Khatri, 17, of Thaha-7 who was traveling on a vehicle, Na 1 Ja, 5582, was arrested during a security check.

During interrogation, Khatri said that another person is arriving with a huge cache of charas. Based on the information, police arrested Pratap Moktan, 51, of Aagra-2 with 13.3 kilograms charas.

Police said they are further investigating the case.
