Indian national arrested with lottery coupons

SURUNGA: An Indian national has been arrested by police along with bundles of lottery coupons.

The arrested is Mohammad Ansaul from Darjeeling of West Bengal, India.

The ward police at Bhandarpur- 6 confirmed the arrest near from Bhanunagar and confiscation of 120 bundles of lottery coupons bearing the names of West Bengal and Nagaland State Companies from his possession.

The trading of Indian lottery is banned in Nepal. The Lottery Act- 2025 BS (1968) requires permission from the Nepal Government to do the lottery business.
