Prez Bhandari, CCSE discuss Chinese investment in Nepal



BEIJING: Chairman of the Economic Joint Committee of China Commercial Stock Enterprises (CCSE), Wang Fuking, and the top officials of Nepal-China Economic and Trade Forum, called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari in Beijing on Sunday.

President Bhandari thanked the Chinese side for the establishment of the Nepal-China Economic and Trade Forum on the occasion.

She said Nepal and China are good neighbors, and that China has made significant contribution to Nepal’s development efforts.

She urged Chinese investors to invest in Nepal and assured them that Nepal’s investment climate was conducive and the need for economic development has also increased.

Likewise, the Chinese side informed President Bhandari that discussions would be held in the Forum on trade, cooperation and investment.
