PM Oli says Nepal will augment its role in NAM



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has claimed that Nepal would gradually augment its role in the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

He said this upon his arrival after attending the 18th NAM Summit in Baku of Azerbaijan on Sunday.

PM Oli added that NAM was able to settle the dispute among some of its members on the basis of dialogue. He added that it would work more actively to reduce global inequality.

He further stated that there was no option for a country but to implement the declaration for disarmament, global peace, justice and equality, and mutual benefit.

Meanwhile, while addressing the NAM Summit, PM Oli had emphasized united, internally cohesive, strong and externally influential NAM to uproot global inequalities once and for all.
