Three more arrested over ADBL hacking



KATHMANDU: Three more people have been arrested in connection with the hacking of Agriculture Development Bank Limited (ADBL).

Chief of Metropolitan Crime Division SSP Sahakul Thapa said three persons were arrested from Kathmandu, Kanchanpur and Parbat.

According to him, the arrested are Ganesh Prasad Bashyal from Kathmandu, Yagyaraj Bhatta from Kanchanpur and Malatidevi Neupane from Parbat.

Police found that Rs 4.5 million was sent in the bank account of Bhatta and Rs 2.8 billion was transferred in the bank account of Neupane.

A total of 16 arrests have been so far made in the hacking.
