Three killed in separate accidents in Saptari

RAJBIRAJ: Three people have died in separate incidents that occurred in Saptari district on Saturday morning.

Dev Narayan Mahato, 65, of Kanchanpur Municipality-8, Siraha died after being crushed by a bus falling from above.  Mahato was drinking tea when the incident occurred.

According to SP Rajendra Bista of District Police Office, Saptari, the bus, Na 5 Kha 7937, heading to east from west rammed the truck from behind heading to the same direction and skidded off the road and fell onto a tea shop along the East-West Highway. Eight others sustained injured in the accident. They are undergoing treatment at Dharmendra Hospital in Rupnagar.

Similarly, a 70-year-old man died after he was struck by a motorcycle at Khadka Municipality-7 along the East-West Highway. Seriously injured man died in course of treatment. Police have taken motorcyclist under control.

Likewise, Shankar Paghaiya Yadav, 22, died after his motorcycle was hit from behind by a bus at Portaha in Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-3 this morning.
